Materials We Use

Our buildings are not kits. They are traditionally custom framed and finished on site with top quality sawn lumber and engineered wood products. As a custom home is, our buildings are specially selected and fitted to your site. Siding, roofing, and windows are usually selected to compliment you existing house or future house. If it is to be the only building on site, then we will accommodate you with your taste in selections.

Here are a few samples of the products you can expect to see on your building(s).

The standard siding we use is APA rated for structural bracing and engineered for longevity and durability. It is pre-primed to make it much easier to paint than sawn ply-wood. Our siding is always applied over a building wrap.

Roofing
We use only Elk-Prestique roofing products. We believe that roof is the life of the building so we make sure to give it a good life. We prefer the architectural high definition asphalt shingles by ELK as a standard, but we are glad to upgrade your roof with any style that suits you. Click on the link to view color options in ELK.

We use durable, horizontal, sliding vinyl windows. They are dual glazed and the outside pain is tempered to meet the new 2008 fire standards. The sliding window is equipped with premium adjustable tandem rollers which ensure smooth operation for many years to come.

Our standard door is a six panel galvanized steel on both sides and yes, it meets the new 2008 fire protection standards.
Add a dead-bolt and it becomes a very secure access point.

Garage Doors
The photo shows the layout of our standard, high quality, steel over-head garage door. It comes in almost any size. We can add windows and insulation at a very low cost to you. Feel free to look at our door shops website to see all the custom doors and options that are available.
